ABOUT OUR JOURNY
The Youth Nawa Initiative was born from the collective will of passionate young Sudanese leaders who refused to stand by during times of crisis. Our journey began as a small, voluntary response focused on meeting critical, local needs. We quickly evolved, realizing that true impact required more than temporary relief; it demanded a deep commitment to empowerment and sustainable change.
Every step we have taken, from training conflict mediators to ensuring children have safe access to education, is a testament to our core belief: that the road to peace and justice in Sudan must be paved and led by its youth. Our commitment is ongoing, fueled by the unwavering hope for a dignified and peaceful nation.
Our Mission
A voluntary youth initiative working to build a society of greater peace, development, and justice.
Our Vision
To see effective youth leadership creating change, building safe, educated, healthy, and prosperous communities where every child and family enjoys dignity and lasting peace.
Core Values
We are guided by the principles of Youth Leadership, recognizing young people as catalysts for change, and operate with absolute Integrity and Transparency in all our dealings.
Our Story & Impact
The Youth Nawa Initiative was founded in 2025 July by a handful of passionate young people who sought to move beyond temporary relief and focus on comprehensive empowerment within our primary operating region.

Success Stories
In Darfur, youth volunteers from the Nawa Initiative organized a large-scale community cleaning campaign to address waste accumulation in public spaces.
Over 60 young people gathered to clear streets, markets, and schools, working side by side with local residents. Their efforts not only improved the environment and public health, but also inspired greater civic participation and pride among community members. This initiative demonstrated the power of youth-led action in creating cleaner, safer, and more united neighborhoods in Darfur.
